Ivy found herself homeless just a few days after Christina’s birth. All the moving around has made it challenging for her to recover from her c-section and other health complications from her daughter's birth. "I'm hurting myself but I don't have a choice. I can't lift but I'm lifting the stroller and moving all the time," Kemp said.

Ivy had a panic attack at the shelter because of how crowded it was and left, getting a voucher for a few days at a motel. The first motel she went to, she was turned away for being too young.
